About Grant Robertson

Grant has been in Agency Recruitment for the last 11 years focusing on Supply Chain recruitment across mainland Europe and the US. In 2020 he set up a company called Cogs to create an employee first recruitment company with a strong focus on providing the right tools for efficiency to all consultants.

As the hiring landscape continues to change he realised a growing trend of smaller, higher productivity agencies outperforming the larger legacy firms on an APH. As of the last 2 years as AI starts to dramatically impact a number of sectors, he realised that this will have a lasting impact on the recruitment sector and therefore a change was required to stay competitive.

  • Outbound needs to be of higher quality and quantity to find opportunities at the right time
  • Eventually there will be a time where Agency recruitment will no longer be required for the dwindling number of global vacancies and those that survive will be the niche specialists with the best AI enabled custom tools
